Benma Group was invited to co-organize the seminar on 11 national standards including "Automotive Drum Brake Shoes"

The seminar on 11 national standards including "Automotive Drum Brake Shoes," hosted by the Friction Materials Sub-Technical Committee of the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products and Products Standardization Technical Committee, organized by Xianyang Non-Metallic Mineral Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and co-organized by Huangshan Feiying Auto Parts Co., Ltd. and Huangshan Benma Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held from September 17 to 19, 2016, at the Huangshan Country Garden Phoenix Hotel in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. Lei Jianbin, Chairman and Party Secretary of Xianyang Non-Metallic Mineral Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Deputy Director of the Friction Materials Sub-Technical Committee of the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products and Products Standardization Technical Committee; Gu Yifan, former Secretary-General of the Brake Committee of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Deputy Director of the Friction Materials Sub-Technical Committee; Shang Xingchun, Chief Engineer of the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and Secretary-General of the Friction Materials Sub-Technical Committee; Shi Zhigang, Executive Deputy Director of the National Non-Metallic Mineral Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center; and Professor Fu Yewei, senior expert in wet friction materials from Northwestern Polytechnical University, attended the meeting. More than 130 members of the Friction Materials Sub-Technical Committee and related experts participated. At the seminar, committee members, industry experts, and representatives from various cities fully expressed their opinions and engaged in lively discussions on 11 national standards including "Automotive Disc Brake Pads," "Automotive Drum Brake Shoes," "Paper-Based Wet Friction Materials," and "Technical Requirements for Non-Metallic Rubber-Based Wet Friction Materials." A consensus was basically reached on major content involved in the standards, and the seminar achieved fruitful results. During the meeting, committee members, industry experts, and representatives also visited the factory of Huangshan Benma Group Co., Ltd. on site, highly praising the company's advanced research and development and production levels, excellent management methods, and corporate culture, and expressed great optimism about the company's development prospects.
